When I think of monster trucks, I instantly think of this image. Those crazy epic (at least when I was 10) car jumping and crashing, super modified trucks called Monster Trucks. But in actuality, those things are like the gum rich people scrape off their shoes, compare to real monster trucks. The kind that help mine the earth for its resources.
In epic episode of new show “What a Tool” on the Discovery Canada website, there are some pretty mean trucks. They’re each designed to pulverize the earth into manageable pieces.
A good example of one of the trucks they showcase is a trap rock excavator. It’s our human machine version of a mammoth. This thing basically shreds the ground, unlike a saw blade. It can even slice into a concrete wall. So look out the rest of the Berlin wall. Yikes.

Now since this program is on Discovery, I can’t embed it. But I can tell you to go HERE now. Like right now, this program is GOOOOD. Yes, I’m white and a sucker for construction machines and tools, but these things will blow your mind. The depths we go, and how amazing the earth is to withstand us.
