I used to love books and then I fell out of love with them. The lure of the spine was replaced with the glow of a screen. Well all kinds of them really.

A book is more than just some paper binded together, it can be a work of art.  From form to the book’s display  and intended function.

One of the main reasons for my passion back into actually buying and loving books again is because of an exceptional geek blog about books called Despite the irony of the web leading me back to physical books.

What’s all about?

Who better to tell you than a snippet from their website: Website Screenshot

What I like about BrainPickings is, it brings you some of the geekiest advice and studies from some of the world’s top thinkers and doers, with a twist. You guessed it folks, it all comes from the pages of famous/epic books.   Here some of their most recent post titles:

75 Scientific Mysteries, Illustrated by Some of Today’s Hottest Artists

The Science of Lucid Dreaming and How to Learn to Control Your Dreams, Animated

Epic right?

I implore you to check it out for yourself if you haven’t already. If it’s been a while, head back and get inspired all over again.  Let’s keep it simple shall we?
