When the timer runs out, it’s all over. And you’re already at 50%. What do you do?!? (said like Dennis Hopper).
This is the story of my iPhone 4G. You may think I’m being overly dramatic, but consider this. My iPhones sleep button is broken.
Think it through.
The sleep button is detrimental to the livelihood of the ability to turn the iPhone on. As well as to easily lock your iPhone home screen. If I anger my phone and it freezes or I accidently shut it off, it’s over. There’s no wakey wakey. Unless that is I can book a time to hand it over to one of those Apple Genius Bar geeks. *fingers crossed*
Sounds an awful lot like that movie Speed doesn’t it? Sidenote: Keanu Reeves was epic in that movie! Where’s he at to help with this similar-ish situation?
Snap out of it!
I’ve been known to keep quite a few apps running at once. Begrudgingly my iPhone chugs through like Thomas the Tank engine. Any given day I’ve got Skype running in the background with bluetooth on, all the while I’m Asana‘ing while in the middle of uploading to Instagram. And we both know I’m also getting my DrawSomething on too.
The motto of this story is, cherish <3 your iPhone and other smart technologies. Not only does it help you and make your life better, it’s your own handheld robot. So treat your little device with compassion and respect. It’s delicate and epic. Plus, one day it could skyNET your behind. Just saying!
Here are just some of the ways my Apple iPhone make my life better:
- Ability to navigate
- Communicate anywhere
- Learn on the go
- Time things (food, hair dye, nail polish)
- Music anywhere
- Account info to just about everything
- Note and music recording
- Video making and uploading
And if you don’t like smart technologies/gadgets or even hate seeing people use them, you’re just not doing it right. No… really.
Here’s where you can go for help to change that:
And for goodness sakes, get an iPad.
