Ok, not really. But this is in fact true. How can it not be, it’s Seth Godin.

I love this pic. It’s probably how all our sandwiches felt being locked in those horrible plastic caves known as Tupperwear. Besides the point!
The real question is, what happens to a bologna sandwich when submersed at 5,000 in the ocean for 10 months? Surprisingly, not much.
Here’s the story of how one sandwich changed how we view ocean exploration.

It’s easy to get caught up in work, life and everything else going on. There’s always a company out there that’s bigger, more social, creative and willing to do more work. That isn’t the easiest reality to swallow, especially if you want to succeed bad enough. But what about your companies and employees’ well being and the bigger picture?

If you’re tired of the same old movies, the drab, over dramatic, crappy acting, horrible music and zero plot (take breathe), super long never ending flops, look no further.

This TED speech is all about our inner struggles to really be ourselves. The speaker, Brene Brown is a true lyricist and genius. She somehow has the key to unlocking why we let our fear and vulnerabilities work against us. But in a simple, honest and even exquisite way.

As per my ‘snazzy’ poll on the side of the page suggests, I’m trying to make ChickTech.com more epic.
Although I know my writing could use a little work, and I’m sure I could infuse some copy by other writers, there’s something else that’s even more on my mind. Not videos or more articles, it’s about what I want to do with the site moving forward.

Our brain consists of the information is does because of what we have learned, namely what we have been taught in school and through our life journey. It get’s harder and harder to learn as we get older, not because we get dumber, but we aren’t learning the same way we did during elementary school. Way back when in school, we are taught using a specific pattern (namely repetition) and schedules – in order to optimize what we can remember.

I think a lot of people forget that we’re actually on a planet, and not some flat piece of land with some revolving sky. If only more of us had the chance to have an out of earth orbit experience. So based on this conundrum my friends, I’ve created this epic space focused post. Continue reading »

Call me psychic, amazing or an idiot for not buying stocks in this, but the future is here. A company called Transit Wireless is set to provide both wireless signals and wi-fi internet in New York City’s subway platforms.

Ever have some random idea that you don’t know what to do with? I don’t have too many, but I do have a growing folder with random notepad files of ideas. So instead of archive this one into it too, I’m sharing it.

I’ve always been a cell phone whore. I don’t even know how many I’ve had in my life. I’m guessing somewhere around 10 or so, a few purchased while in different countries. But none of them compare to the capabilities and change in my life like the iPhone.

The world is amazing, but so are people. Don’t give up on people. Never relent!
Here’s a video about people who do some pretty amazing things…
And if you haven’t gathered by now, the old saying “good things come to those who wait” is bullsh*t. If you want something, go out and take it. But do it with morals and good intentions.

Tablets are an epic idea. The concept is fantastic for design nerds, and it just ingenious if you enjoy sketching, drawing or painting. The only downfall to tablets is that they suck when you try to use them as note pads. Half the time the interface has no idea what you want to write, and ‘writing’ punctuation is out of the question. It takes me about double the time to do the same thing on a keyboard. So what if it didn’t suck?
