Food these days contains a lot of ingredients and things that could have any number of calories and grams of fat. Back in the day, if you wanted to count your brand name calories you’d have to makeshift the numbers based on quantity and what you think the ingredients are. Luckily, this info is now public. Technically anyways.
If you happen to own an iPhone (I applaud you btw), then you’ll love this Calorie Counting app. Not only do you have access to a database of ‘regular food’ (you know apples, ground beef and peanuts), but also brand name food products.

This past Web 2.0. Expo in New York, I had a memorable experience with a Sony multi-touch surface. Sure there were plenty of amazing gadgets and toys at the Expo, but this interactive bar lounge table was something else. It drew quite a crowd. It drew all sorts in fact. Watch this video and you’ll start to see why. Inappropriate hashtag use #epic.

Long weekends are the best! However, this one was followed by *dun, dun, dun* a case of the Monday’s. Someone even stole my stapler.

I stumbled across the new iPhone app entitled Snooth Wine Pro, and it rekindled something I haven’t thought about for ages, image recognition. For so long, I have put thoughts of us enhancing this technology into the back of my mind (hoping they’d do something great, but not holding my breath).
