I don’t know about you, but I often ask myself that question. What am I really here on Earth to do? hmm…
With that said, one of the people I LOVE reading inspiring, life altering posts by is a fellow named Jonathan Mead. He’s a young, positive, driven and overall cool guy. At least that’s what I get from reading his posts and following his tweets.
On a very regular basis he posts about what he knows best, living a decent life where the lines between work and play are blurred. If you just thought to yourself, “dannnggggg that would be nice,” Jonathan’s inspiring words are for you. Especially his recent post “Getting Paid to Be Who You Are (or why you need to create your own livelihood).”
He outlines 3 stupidly simple steps you can take to make your work-life better by actually living the life you want. I know, it’s mind-boggling for some of us. Yes, this is counter-intuitive to what you were likely taught at school. And it’s awesome!!!
Here’s a snippet…. but you must follow the white rabbit to learn the rest. I implore you :)
Ask yourself: What am I deeply passionate about? What could I talk about for hours without tiring, and explore for years without end in sight?
Ask yourself: What can I offer to the world? Where does my passion line up with what other people need?
